God Of War Director Suggests Crossover With Vikings-Themed Assassin’s Creed

God of War Assassin's Creed Vikings

Rumors have been circulating as of late that indicate an upcoming installment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise could be centered around vikings. This all stemmed from an Easter egg found in The Division 2, which then led to a report that seemingly confirmed such a thing was on the way. That said, the latest God of War entry also happens to feature some Norse goodness, which is why the director has now suggested a potential crossover.

God of War director Cory Barlog caught wind of the vikings-themed Assassin’s Creed recently. This has led him to propose the idea of a crossover with the hit PlayStation 4 exclusive, and honestly, we all kind of need this to happen.

Of course, this is in no way, shape, or form any sort of confirmation that something like this could happen, but more of playfully teasing fans everywhere. After all, it would be beyond great to see some sort of crossover between God of War and Assassin’s Creed. And since the chances of it actually happening are pretty low, we’ll just have to keep using our imagination.

Now that possible details are beginning to emerge about the next Assassin’s Creed entry, it’s only a matter of time before Ubisoft officially reveals something. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
