Ghost Recon: Wildlands Gets a Brand New Official TV Spot – Watch it Here (VIDEO)

Ghost Recon: Wildlands launches next month for all to buy and play, but not before they give the public a taste of the awesome that awaits! Next week, Ubisoft will be hosting an open beta in which everyone can participate in a small part of the game for free. Not only does that give prospective consumers a chance to see whether or not it’s worth the purchase, it gives the company some publicity and kudos. They have been on a roll, that’s for certain. Earlier this week, it was announced that the For Honor beta test was the largest in Ubisoft history, witnessing 6 million players overall. Now, it’s Wildlands official turn for the spotlight. This year is shaping up to be an exciting one within the video game industry. Huge titles are making their debut, and there have been betas galore! Even though Wildlands was not in some people’s radar, the internet publicity has certainly garnered a larger fan-base. The game can be played solo, but the team at Ubisoft stresses the cooperative aspect as well. If anything, it’s more fun to play with a team than it would be alone. However, it’s not just a run and gun type of game – it is a third-person tactical shooter.

The open world feel might give some players the idea that this is just another Grand Theft Auto, but that isn’t the case at all. There is an in-game military called UNIDAD that keeps track of your notoriety level and, while you can go around killing civilians, there are consequences. The game’s mechanics and built-in rules force you to behave within a realm of reason. If you don’t adhere, mission failure or death is inevitable. I mean, this isn’t based off of personal experiences or anything. Totally.

Ghost Recon Wildlands

The Ghost Recon: Wildlands open beta begins February 23rd and runs through February 27th. The game will release March 7th, 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Pre-orders are available now.

So, gamers, will you be participating in the open beta next week? Are you looking forward to trying it out? What do you think of the Wildlands official TV spot?
