Genshin Impact's Yoimiya Trailer Makes A Compelling Case For Your Primogems (VIDEO)

Genshin Impact is on the cusp of releasing another batch of content for its Inazuma region, this time in the form of two new playable characters. Replacing the Ayaka Event Wish banner that concludes on August 10, the newly arriving characters are Yoimiya, the max rarity Pyro bow user, and Sayu, the 4* rarity Anemo Claymore user. As is tradition, Genshin Impact developer miHoYo has released a new character demo trailer for the featured unit, Yoimiya, which shows off the Queen of Summer on Narukami Island in a dazzling display of lights, color, and a whole lot of explosions.

Genshin Impact developer miHoYo took to social media to unveil the official character demo trailer for Yoimiya. Titled Dazzling Lights in the Summer, the new trailer does a great job of showcasing what players have come to know about Yoimiya from the story quests released thus far: she’s endearingly perky, hardworking, a little hyper, and great with fireworks. Check out the character demo trailer below:

As for when to expect Yoimia, both her and Sayu will be releasing on August 10 at 19:00 server time, with the Event Wish banner running then until August 31 at 15:59. Accompanying the two new characters is the new weapon Thundering Pulse, a bow that is one naturally of the more ideal weapons for Yoimiya. The new weapon banner also runs until August 31. Details on both banners can be found right here.

Genshin Impact is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, and Android & iOS devices.
