Genshin Impact is the open-world, action RPG that’s taken the gaming world by storm. The free-to-play game integrates non-aggressive gacha monetization features into an enjoyable role-playing experience. To say Mihoyo has found a wealth of success since it launched would be an understatement. From the adorable character designs, gorgeous environments, and bountiful loot to discover – there’s a lot to love about Genshin Impact.

In the latest update from Mihoyo’s official Twitter account, the team introduces a new character named Klee the “Fleeing Sunlight,” a 5-star pyro from the region of Mondstadt and she makes things go ‘boom!’ Starting October 20th, travelers have a chance of receiving Klee by pulling at the Sparkling Steps wish event. In the image below, Genshin Impact highlights Noelle, Sucrose, and Xianqiu in Sparkling Steps as well.

In addition to introducing Klee, a new event wish called “Epitome Invocation” will soon begin, granting travelers a chance to “stock up on weapons and characters to increase your combat readiness.” This event wish will begin at the same time as Sparkling Steps! If you’ve progressed far enough along the story missions in Genshin Impact, you might remember that Razor mentions how much of a pyromaniac Klee can be. She deals fire damage no matter what she does. Klee’s normal attacks throws items that explode on impact, dealing AoE pryo damage. Her elemental skills are equally volatile!
