Fresh Details on Star Wars Battlefront II Beta Leaked
On October 4th, players will finally have a chance to enter into the long anticipated Star Wars Battlefront II beta. Star Wars fans will be able to experience the epic encounters between iconic Heroes and Villains of the series, adrenaline pumping dogfights in space, and massive land-based assaults. New details on the beta have surfaced in a leak which outlines what players can expect going into the fray.
It was already known that players would be visiting Naboo during the Assault on Theed, players will also have access to aerial dogfights – however the location had remained a secret until now. Not only will Battlefront fans be able to enjoy 40 player ground assaults, but 24 player combat in the skies above Thondor in Starfighter Assault as well as participate in the Strike on Takodana. There will be solo play, online co-op, and split screen co-op for the game’s more arcade-like Skirmish mode, introduced in the first Star Wars Battlefront reboot.
Heroes are a staple of the the Battlefront games, and players will have a chance to access to the same characters that were on show at E3 this year such as Rey, Han Solo, Darth Maul, and Boba Fett. Players may even be able see an LAAT in-game, however it may not be controllable. The game hopes to be a major improvement over the first Star Wars Battlefront reboot by incorporating a vast amount of new content which the predecessor was lacking.
Those who have pre-ordered will have access to the closed beta on the 4th. The open beta opens for players on October 6th and runs through until the 9th. The full game can be expected to release on November 17th for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
