Fortnite’s ‘Mando’s Bounty’ Mode Features The Mandalorian Hunting Down Players

Fortnite has long since solidified itself as one of the most popular video games in the industry, and the smash hit Epic Games title continues to stay relevant in part due to its near-constant crossovers with various pop culture franchises. The big inclusion this season was the crossover with Star Wars, giving season pass owners access to playing as The Mandalorian and Baby Yoda. Now, a new limited time Fortnite mode called ‘Mando’s Bounty’ has been added that seeing the Mandalorian hunting players down.

As reported by Game Informer, Epic Games has unveiled their new limited time Mando’s Bounty mode. The new Fortnite mode pits players against each other as they must hunt down designated bounty targets, or even other players. As they earn galactic credits for eliminating bounties, each player aims to amass the biggest amount of the currency. However, the player with the most credits will become the target of none other than The Mandalorian Din Djarin himself.

If the player is able to survive The Mandalorian’s pursuit and beat him at his own game, the player will be rewarded with a Beskar Umbrella. The Fortnite cosmetic item appears to be made of Beskar steel, like Mando’s armor, and features the Mudhorn crest that was awarded to The Mandalorian in the Disney+ series. Players will have to act fast to get this item, as the Mando’s Bounty mode will only be available until February 9th at 9AM eastern time. This is perfect for Mandalorian fans biding their time for now, as it’ll be quite a while until season 3 of the television series returns. This the Way.
