Fortnite Shopping Carts Are Disabled Again Because Of This Exploit (VIDEO)

Fortnite Shopping Carts

The Battle Royale fun of Fortnite became even more so with the introduction of shopping carts, providing the murderous multiplayer mayhem with essentially its first vehicle. However, over the course of several updates, the metallic mode of transportation has been removed from the game only to be repeatedly brought back and axed several times over. The reluctance reached its peak earlier this week when the return Fortnite shopping carts were once again reversed only hours later.

Why is Epic Games so unwilling to let Fornite shopping carts run free? Well, it turns out that everyone’s fun has been ruined due to some party poopers having a bit too much of their own fun. Apparently with the correct maneuvering, shopping carts have the ability to place players underneath the map, granting glitchers the ability to take out any and all competition from the unseen space. Video tutorials like the one below have been detailing the major exploit all over YouTube, presumably prompting Epic to once again take the carts away.

Since giving players the power of “god mode” in an online game isn’t what Epic had intended, it’s understandable why the decision was once again made to remove shopping carts. For players, it’s likely a shame to see the carts roll away so often, especially with how much non-game-breaking fun the wheeled vehicle presented. Until bugs can be worked out, the only thing to do is to await the shopping carts’ glitch-free return. Fortnite is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, Xbox One, and iOS devices.
