Final Fantasy XIV Moonfire Faire 2018 Event Revealed
Another blazing hot summer brings with it a slew of summer-themed events in some of our favorite MMORPGs. Final Fantasy XIV has been celebrating in style for a few years now via its Moonfire Faire events, with last year’s iteration rewarding participants with the limited-time ‘Faire’ cosmetic armor set, a few housing items, and more. This year’s newly revealed Moonfire Faire event appears to be turning up the heat, with even greater rewards available for those willing to toil a bit under the hot son.
Square Enix took to its Final Fantasy XIV website to reveal the details for this year’s Moonfire Faire event. As one would expect by now, those looking to kick off the quest will need to visit Mayaru Moyaru at the Aftcastle in Limsa Lominsa, Upper Decks, who will then send players to Costa Del Sol to get the shenanigans going.
As for the rewards, participants will be able to snag the dyeable Endless Summer cosmetic set, shown on the left pane of the above image. A special ‘Splash’ emote is also obtainable this time around, as is a Mosquito Moogle tabletop item and a Curry Plate, another tabletop item. The Curry Plate can be used up to 10 times for various temporary stat boosts.
The Final Fantasy XIV Moonfire Faire 2018 event will be running from August 13th to August 26th. Final Fantasy XIV is now available for PC and PlayStation 4.
