Final Fantasy 14’s Moonfire Faire Event Kicks Off Next Week With Summer Themed Fun

Moonfire Faire final fantasy xiv

Square Enix’s popular MMORPG Final Fantasy 14 is switching gears for the summer, focusing less on the fiery battles that take place in Stormblood – the game’s latest expansion – and more on the cool, refreshing breeze of the ocean. That’s right, Final Fantasy 14’s Moonfire Faire event is back, officially arriving next week on August 8th at 1 AM PT/4AM ET and running until August 26th at 7:59AM PT/11:59AM ET.

A yearly recurring event, Final Fantasy 14’s Moonfire Faire features limited time quests that reward players with exclusive summer-themed gear. Those looking to pick up the new goodies can begin the quest by speaking to Mayaru Moyaru on the Upper Decks of Limsa Lominsa. Players that missed out on the exclusive gear from previous Moonfire Faires can purchase them from Moonfire Faire vendors. For participating in this year’s event, the following items can be acquired:

Event Items for FFXIV’s Moonfire Faire

  • Faire Joi (Body Armor)
  • Faire Kohakama (Leg Armor)
  • Faire Zori (Boots)
  • Evercold Shaved Ice (Tabletop Item)
  • Moonfire Faire (Wall-Mounted Item)
  • Hyper Rainbow Z Orchestrion Roll

The skies of Eorzea are ablaze with fireworks, and the city-states awash with seasonal cheer and vibrant decorations.  Or at least they will be if willing adventurers can be found to lend a helping hand!  The Moonfire Faire is once again hopelessly understaffed, but those with an eye for opportunity are sure to be generously rewarded.  Assist the organizers and take part in the celebrations to earn Faire vouchers, which can be exchanged for brand-new, seasonal clothing and furnishings.  Seek out the Moonfire Faire chaperones for an unforgettable and fun-filled adventure!”
