Final Fantasy VII Remake Offering Tifa PS4 Theme For Buying Chocolate
With the Final Fantasy VII Remake just under a month and a half away, Square Enix is continuing to build hype for highly anticipated title. Although a demo has yet to be announced for the timed exclusive PS4 title, the publisher still has something up its sleeves in the form of an exclusive Tifa PS4 theme that will be available starting early next month…all it’ll take is the purchase of a couple pieces of chocolate!
Square Enix has announced a special Butterfinger Final Fantasy VII Remake Offer that kicks off on March 3rd, 2020. Basically, those that purchase two Baby Ruth, Butterfinger, or Crunch bars and register said purchases online will redeem a dynamic PS4 theme featuring Tifa sittint atop the water tower in Nibelheim. Check it out below:
The Tifa dynamic PS4 theme is only the first part of the incentive. Once the Final Fantasy VII Remake comes out on April 10, 2020, the offer then changes over to “powerful in-game content” for those that continue to purchase the previously mentioned chocolate bars. This content appears to be belts, accessories, and materia, so it seems pretty worth it for those that enjoy to indulge once in a while anyway.
This is by no means the strangest collaboration Square Enix has done. Back when Final Fantasy XV first came out there was a huge collab between the Japanese publisher and Cup Noodles, with the latter making a triumphant return for some sweet Dissidia Final Fantasy NT incentives back in early 2018. Such collabs don’t seem to be going away anytime soon, so we may as well enjoy ’em, right? Just remember not to let anyone lay a finger on your Butterfinger, not even Tifa. Okay, maybe Tifa.
The Final Fantasy VII Remake is slated to release exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on April 10, 2020.
