Fallout 76 Steel Dawn Update Arrives Ahead Of Scheduled Release
Over time, Fallout 76 has made numerous changes to bring about an almost unrecognizable experience from when it started – but in a good way. With regular updates and expansions, Bethesda has done an excellent job with its post-launch content and the previously-teased Brotherhood of Steel update has promised to bring even more improvements to the title. Now, thanks to some technical difficulties for Xbox players, fans are currently able to play the update a little early.
Offering an explanation of their official blog, the Fallout 76 Steel Dawn update was originally set to arrive on December 1st of this year, but an error saw Xbox players being able to download the update an entire week early. While this was sure to be a surprise for the players, the early release actually made the game unplayable to those that downloaded. After researching ways to get the players back into the game, the developers ultimately decided to just release the Fallout 76 update ahead of schedule.
Earlier today, there was an error that caused players in our Xbox community to download the Steel Dawn Update ahead of schedule, but prevented them from actually playing. We immediately investigated ways to get our Xbox players back in-game as soon as possible, but, through our discussions, the entire BGS team felt confident that Steel Dawn is ready to go.”
Players can currently begin the Steel Dawn quest line, make use of the new C.A.M.P. shelters, and much much more. The new Brotherhood of Steel questline has been teased as a lengthy expansion, giving players a chance to meet up with the Brotherhood of Steel and over time, decide what sort of presence the faction has within Appalachia.
