Fallout 76 Teases Getting Your Beer On With New Brewing System
Bethesda still has a ton of content planned for Fallout 76, having recently announced their roadmap for the months ahead. The first major content update called “Wild Appalachia” is set to arrive later this month, beginning with the fancy new brewing and distilling crafting system that will send players down a course to become the Wasteland’s next great Nukashiner.
A new Inside the Vault post reveals that a new quest will soon become available, allowing players to become brewmasters capable of creating all kinds of delicious, alcoholic beverages. The upcoming update will also bring with it new crafting stations for player C.A.M.P.S called the Brewing Station and Fermenter that will help them on their alcoholic endeavors.
To start on the path to becoming a respectable bartender for themselves players will need to embark on a quest called “Wasted on Nukashine” that will task players to find a notorious speakeasy near Vault-Tec University. Once inside, Vault dwellers will need to speak with Appalachia’s tipsiest robot, Biv, who will then teach them the ins and outs of becoming a Nukashine brewmaster. There will be a wide selection of brews both new and old to create such as wines, beers, mixed drinks and more each with their own unique buffs / debuffs that can be learned and tasted by completing daily quests available through Biv.
