New The Evil Within 2 Gameplay Clip Reveals Stealthy Side of Horror (VIDEO)

Evil Within 2 gameplay

Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami and Bethesda made quite the team their first go-round with the survival-horror action genre. A new The Evil Within 2 gameplay clip shows just how much effort they’re putting into the sequel. Also, while Shinji isn’t returning to direct, he will still play a part in the game’s development.

The video features Sebastian sneaking his way through various locations, trying to avoid danger where he can. While steering clear of conflict, players become privy to all sorts of horrors as seen above. The new The Evil Within 2 gameplay clip also shows a tense scene where the character has to go into a burning building, presenting a real danger amidst all of the terror. Check out some of the stealthy action in the trailer below:

With a first look at the game at E3, fans got to experience a bit of the horror preparing to engulf Sebastian. The demo featured 3 locations in the game, following the main character as he attempts to save his daughter. This new The Evil Within 2 gameplay clip shows just the kind of odds he’s up against, having to balance combat with stealth in order to succeed.

The original game was revered for its tense combat and atmospheric ambiance that drew players into the horrifying world laid out by Bethesda. The latest installment appears to be no exception, with a whole host of horrors awaiting Sebastian inside. If the new The Evil Within 2 gameplay clip is any indication of what to expect, fans are in for a terrifying treat. And while some may want to put the pedal to the metal, others prefer to put the chair to the window.
