Epic Games Store Offering Three Free Games This Week
Having just concluded the 2019 holiday season, fans were offered quite the array of freebies from the Epic Games Store, with twelve notable games revealed to be free for the remaining days of December. While that promotion is now officially ended, Epic has already knee-deep in its first no-charge offering for the year 2020–a whopping three free games currently available to players for a limited time.
From now until January 9th (11 AM ET), the first Darksiders, Darksiders II, and Steep will be free on the Epic Store. Following the hack-and-slashing Horsemen of the Apocalypse, both Darksiders games feature in their special Warmastered and Deathfinitive Editions, complete with remastered graphics and all add-on content. On the other hand, Steep is a competitive winter sports title, allowing fans to shred the competition in a much different capacity while the snowy season is still upon us.
As the finale to our 12… err, ???????? Days of Free Games promotion, these three games will be available for FREE on the #EpicGamesStore until January 9 (10:59 AM Eastern).

As an added bonus, this week’s free games from the Epic Games Store also coincide with a special Encore Week sale, continuing the myriad of discounts offered during the 2019 Holidays. Games such as Telltale Games‘ The Walking Dead, Metro Exodus, and Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey see half their price disappears while newer offerings like Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and The Outer Worlds get among their cheapest discounts yet.
It’s Encore Week! That means you get some extra time to save big on select titles on the #EpicGamesStore.
