Epic Games Announces 8 New Epic Games Store Exclusives (VIDEO)

The Epic Games Store has been a polarizing topic in the gaming world. On the one hand, many devs are signing deals that will enable them to fund future projects and support their games with additional content down the road, but many players lament that buying exclusive titles from the marketplace will fragment their friends lists and lose some of the features they’ve come to enjoy on Steam.

While there may be some problems with the Epic Games Store, for now, it still boasts a pretty impressive catalog of critically acclaimed and highly anticipated titles. In advance of annual gaming con PAX West 2019, Epic released a trailer of their newest exclusives. Check it out below!

While many had already been aware of Ooblets coming exclusively to Epic Games Store, there are still a few surprises here, with some of the new entries being Wattam, No Straight Roads, and Manifold Garden. Wattam is Katamari Damacy creator Keita Takahashi’s newest project and looks to deliver a wonderfully weird experience. Another standout is Manifold Garden, a bit of an MC Escher-esque puzzle game that looks beautiful. It’s unknown whether or not these newly-announced exclusives will stay that way on Epic Game Store for good. Certain games like Rebel Galaxy Outlaw will also be making their way to other storefronts in the future. Until we hear more, here’s the full list of 8 games that were announced as exclusives to the Epic Games Store:

  • Ooblets
  • Superliminal
  • Wattam
  • The Alto Collection
  • The Eternal Cylinder
  • Manifold Garden
  • No Straight Roads
  • Airborne Kingdom
