The Sinking City Nintendo Switch Gameplay Revealed (VIDEO)

The Sinking City Nintendo Switch

Frogwares released their delightfully spooky Lovecraftian adventure The Sinking City earlier this year on PC and consoles. While it did not launch on Nintendo Switch at that time, it was revealed that the devs were going to be releasing a version for the mobile console. That said, a new video has unveiled what the game will look like running on the Switch, and it isn’t too bad at all.

The Sinking City is a relatively demanding title when it comes to graphics, so bringing it to the Switch has likely posed a challenge to the team. However, thanks to the video below, we now know that they were clearly up to the task and have been able to optimize gameplay at 30 FPS on Nintendo Switch. Check it out for yourself below:

For those who don’t know what The Sinking City is all about, here’s more:

“Tortured by his past and otherworldly visions, Charles W. Reed, a private investigator finds himself in Oakmont, Massachusetts, seeking salvation from the creeping insanity that afflicts him. Once a trade harbor, known for its lucrative smuggling business, Oakmont now lives in secluded isolation from the rest of the world, under a flood of supernatural origins. In this place of decay and superstition; players will have to deal with the dregs of mankind, follow clues they wish they had never found, and unveil a cosmic horror threatening the world itself.”

The Sinking City is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, with the Nintendo Switch version arriving “really soon.” Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
