New Elder Scrolls Online DLC “Horns of the Reach” Available in August – Here’s What it Includes
The brand new The Elder Scrolls Online DLC game pack “Horns of the Reach” was teased during E3 this year, but more detailed information has released in regards to its content. Not only will there be bug fixes, updates, general balance changes, and new furnishings coming to the core game, there are a bunch of brand new additions as well. There will be two new dungeons called Bloodroot Forge and Falkreath Reach, a new game type called Chaosball, additions to the 4v4v4 game mode, and a lot more! Base Game Update
- Ability to cancel research project mid-way
- Guild Invite History
- Update to currency system, allowing players to deposit Alliance Points and Write vouchers into the bank
- Customizable combat cues for ability and attack telegraphs
- General bug fixes, balance changes, new homes and furnishings
The Threat in the Reach
- 2 new dungeons
- Bloodroot Forge – “an ancient, long-forgotten forge that was recently rediscovered by the Reachmen and their minotaur allies. This forge, rumored to have been created by the Daedric prince Hircine, can create weapons of unbelievable power. When exploring this new dungeon, you will navigate through heavy vegetation and deep, lava-filled corridors to reach the heart of the forge and put a stop to Gherig Bullblood’s plans.”
- Falkreath Hold – “a township under siege that will soon fall to the marauding hordes of Domihaus the Bloody-Horned. You and your companions must break the siege, move into the town and Jarl’s Hall, and defeat the monstrous warlord himself.”
- Dungeons include new and familiar enemies and bosses – Reachmen, minotaurs, Nirnblood creatures, deadly monsters, cunning sorcerers, and fierce warlords
- Normal and Veteran mode available for both dungeons
- Hard Veteran mode available for the last boss
- Brand new, unique item sets, monster sets, and achievements as rewards
New PvP Action
- New additions to 4v4v4 game mode
- New map: Arcane University
- Regular Battlegrounds
- Set in the Imperial city, but Imperial City DLC is not required to play this
- Features – indoor fighting, tricky teleporters, and high platforms
- New Battlegrounds game type: Chaosball
- Players must capture and hold onto a ball for as long as possible to earn points. While in control of the ball, healing and armor debuffs will be applied to all players on your team, which will eventually deal damage
- “Fast-paced, frenetic fun”
- This game type is ONLY available for players who own The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind
