Today, Bandai Namco Entertainment North America has confirmed Eddy Gordo for Tekken 7 in an all new character reveal trailer. This isn’t the first time most Tekken fans have seen him, of course. His story first began with the initial appearance in Tekken 3 and, since then, has been on a quest to treat a deadly illness affecting his master. Alas, time has been against Eddy Gordo and his efforts were fruitless. Take a look at the character reveal below:

Last year, the game was given a tentative release of early 2017, but there has been a delay until June 2nd, 2017. Following the Rage and Sorrow trailer that debuted earlier this year, the anticipation has certainly been building steadily. In order to bring in all the features and content the developing team had planned, the unfortunate delay was necessary. Other playable character on the roster so far are – Akuma, Bob, Eddy Gordo, Eliza, Kuma, Lee Chaolan/Violet, Master Raven, Miguel, Nina Williams (Fated Retribution), and Panda. For those interested in Eliza, she is a bonus character available in pre-orders only.

Tekken 7 is slated for release on June 2nd, 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
