Kuma and Panda Confirmed for Tekken 7 (VIDEO)

Bandai Namco Entertainment’s next installment into their popular series of fighting games, Tekken 7, is due out early 2017. The series has had some memorable characters over the years, and it looks like two fan favorites have been confirmed. The comical fighting bears known as Kuma and Panda have made their way to the roster.

In a reveal trailer released by Bandai Namco, we get our first glimpse at the brawling bears. Up first we get a shot of Kuma’s intro, in which the lovable grizzly seems to do a happy dance before letting out a ferocious roar. After a character splash screen showing Kuma, Panda rolls into the scene. Panda looks like she is ready for some fat free latte and a indy-rock concert in her stylish hipster garb.

The remainder of the trailer shows massive combo reals for the two characters. There’s even a short clip of Kuma wearing a mask fitted with a camera and seems to be talking into a microphone. The two bears face off against one another as Panda seems to have an endless supply of combo and heavy power hits in her arsenal. She shows off one of her special moves as she seemingly plays volleyball with Kuma’s flailing body. Kuma faces off with a Jack android as he pulls a fish from the river. After a quick setiup, he plays a little game of “batter up” with the freshly caught fish. Check out the full reveal trailer below:
