Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Reveals First Piccolo Gameplay Footage (VIDEO)

Despite the misleading title, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot lets you play as more characters than just Goku, a fact only recently uncovered thanks to the latest issue of V-jump. It was revealed in said issue that players will also be able to play as Vegeta, Gohan, and Piccolo, with the ability to play as each of them being locked behind story progress. Now, the first bit of gameplay footage for Piccolo has officially been revealed.

During a recent PlayStation HK stream, new details for DBZ: Kakarot was unveiled. About halfway through the stream – starting at roughly 16 minutes in – the first bit of gameplay footage for Piccolo was revealed, with the battle pitting him against Tien and Chiaotzu. The combat itself seems fairly similar to Dragon Ball Xenoverse, which certainly isn’t a bad thing. The footage can be seen below:

Here’s what fans can expect from the upcoming game:

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot releases for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One early next year.
