Epic Dragon Ball FighterZ Cinematics Look Weird From Another Angle (VIDEO)

Dragon Ball FighterZ Cinematics

Dragon Ball FighterZ presents quite the epic showdown between the fighting game’s expansive roster with each character highlighted by both balanced gameplay and and gorgeous anime visuals. The completed package is pretty spectacular to say the least, but all those stylish Dragon Ball FighterZ cinematics are a decidedly bizarre experience when examined behind the scenes. YouTuber “SigmaG19” has compiled a video featuring many of the most visually stunning Super attacks from Dragon Ball FighterZ, but from a much less flattering angle.

The altered perspective exposes the real happenings during the game’s moments of intensity, with most featuring random character vanishes, super-thick outlining, and attacks seemingly not lining up how they’re supposed to. The video below also presents more extreme cases, including a Super Saiyan Blue tunnel (2:23), an absurdly swole Gohan arm (4:15), and a strange view of Captain Ginyu’s body switch attack (4:53). Yamcha can also be seen beating up Frieza (0:55), but that’s more of a hilariously unrealistic scenario rather than a wonky-looking mechanic.

Now that Dragon Ball FighterZ is finally upon us, the hype train now begins for all that delicious post-release content. Modders have been breaking onto the scene lately with more than a few character upgrades, and a simple resolution change can provide a pretty dramatic nostalgia trip. Those with desires of official DLC can discern a few potential roster additions from a recent bout of data mining. There’s also the stellar vanilla version of Dragon Ball FighterZ, which is out now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
