Dragon Age Fans Lose Their Minds Over Dragon Age 4 Theories
It’s the news we’ve all been waiting for. Dragon Age 4 finally made its debut at The Game Awards ceremony on December 6th, teasing the future of the franchise and what’s to come of the story next. The series left off with Dragon Age Inquisition and, without spoiling anything in terms of gameplay, a certain bald elf leaves the party. Why? Well, there’s a lot of why’s, which explains why so many fans are losing their minds over theories and the implications that can be dissected from the trailer.
Some are beautifully crafted ideas based of events that have previously taken place and folks can’t stop talking about it! Tagged with #TheDreadWolfRises, the trailer features the Elven companion Solas (AKA the Dread Wolf) and another Elven figure? Between the two floats a familiar red lyrium idol, one many may recognize from Dragon Age 2 during the journey into the Deep Roads.
Thus, everyone took to social media to discuss. Buckle up friends, the theory-crafting gets real from here on out. Not only did our in-house Dragon Age and literally all things BioWare specialist offer her two cents, plenty of others chimed in on the conversation via Twitter.
I am still not over this Dragon Age 4 teaser! This is going to tie up SO many loose ends from Dragon Age 2 – and with the corruption red lyrium and the idol making a reappearance, this could mean BIG things for what we think we know about how lyrium works.
