Doctor Who Series 10 Trailer

Doctor Who fans are readying themselves for Series 10 of the modern run of Doctor Who episodes, and what has been announced to be the final season of Peter Capaldi’s starring role as The Twelfth Doctor. While this looming end is in fans’ minds, there is also a new companion fans are looking forward to her introduction in this new set of episodes. Bill Potts, played by Pearl Mackie, is the new companion of the Doctor, who joins Matt Lucas’s Nardole, who has appeared in the past two Doctor Who Christmas specials. Now, we have a look at the trio’s upcoming adventures with a new Doctor Who Series 10 trailer.

The video seen above has been posted to the official Doctor Who YouTube channel and gives a nice brief preview of the upcoming 12-episode series. We see that Bill will carry the tradition of new companions being astonished by the inside of the TARDIS, although her first moments inside the time machine might have a slightly different reaction. We also see the Doctor taking Bill to the year 1812, the planet Mars, and what might be a version of the future populated with emoji-displaying robots. Yes, emojis.

The trailer also shows us the return of Michelle Gomez as Missy, the female regeneration of the Doctor’s longtime friend/nemesis The Master, as well as the Mondasian Cybermen, who return after being last seen on the show over 50 years ago. This series is definitely looking like a heck of a good time and space. What do you guys think? Did you enjoy watching this Doctor Who Series 10 trailer?
