Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Special Editions Revealed – Check Out the Warrior of Light Bust!
Some exciting news has surfaced regarding Square Enix’s upcoming PlayStation 4 fighting game, Dissidia Final Fantasy NT. Announced over on the Japanese publisher’s blog, the company revealed that the release date is January 30th, 2018. The blog post also serves as a reminder that the Closed Beta for the game will be available for download at the end of this month, for those that received a Closed Beta code. Plus, as this is a Final Fantasy game after all, Square Enix is offering several different ‘special edition’ versions, each offering different goodies both physical and digital. The different versions of the game are listed below, including a list of the respective contents:
The Ultimate Collector’s Edition is the biggest and most expensive version of the game priced at $189.99. It includes the following physical and digital content:
- Collector’s Box featuring legendary FINAL FANTASY characters
- 8.25 inch Warrior of Light bust
- Hardcover 80 page artbook including sketches and artwork from DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY NT
- Official soundtrack with 15 tracks selected from the DISSIDIA series and newly recorded music
- DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY NT PS4 game disc
- Exclusive Ultimate Collector’s Steelbook
- Season Pass (Digital Content)
- Players will receive DLC items that will be released after the release of the main game
- 6 additional playable characters (includes standard costume and weapon)
- Color variation of the costumes for the 6 characters mentioned above (2 each)
- Additional weapons for the 6 characters mentioned above (2 each)
Next up is the Steelbook Brawler Edition of Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, a free upgrade to the standard version of the game for those that pre-order. There are three different steelbook versions available of which players will receive one randomly when pre-ordering. Each version contains one character on the front and one on the back. At this time it is unknown whether or not buyers will be able to tell which steelbook contains which characters when purchasing in-store.
Last, but not least, Square Enix is offering a Digital Deluxe ($84.00) and a Digital Day One Edition ($59.99) of Dissidia Final Fantasy NT. Both versions include the base game and a MINI soundtrack, which features 6 songs. As soon as either edition is ordered, consumers will have access to the MINI soundtrack. The Digital Deluxe Edition also includes the season pass, which includes the following:
- 6 additional playable characters (includes standard costume and weapon)
- Color variation of the costumes for the 6 characters mentioned above (2 each)
- Additional weapons for the 6 characters mentioned above (2 each)
