New Diablo IV Gameplay Trailer Shows Off Insane World Boss Fight (VIDEO)

Ever since the official Diablo IV reveal that took place at BlizzCon 2019, fans of the longtime series have been chomping at the bit for any info the can find regarding the highly anticipated title. While the release date for Diablo IV is reportedly still a ways away, that hasn’t stopped Blizzard from teasing fans with sneak peeks, such as the latest gameplay trailer showing off a first look at one of the game’s world bosses.

Blizzard recently showed off a first look Diablo IV gameplay video to the folks over at Game Informer, with the devs themselves squaring off against the world boss known as Ashava the Pestilent. Ashava is apparently not one to be trifled with, as it made relatively quick work of the team and goes on to live to fight another day. Check out the video below:

Want to learn more about Ashava the Pestilent? Here’s a quick ‘how to’ for the world boss courtesy of the Diablo IV wiki:

“Ashava The Pestilent is a World Boss that requires the cooperation of many players to be defeated. Ashava will mostly perform melee attacks except for the Poison Breath and the Arm Blades attack. When Ashava becomes staggered one of his arm blades will break. If both arm blades are removed this way, Ashava will lose the ability to perform the arm blade attack providing more freedom for ranged Heroes.”

Diablo IV is now in development.
