Destiny 2’s Trials Of The Nine Cancelled Until Next Month

Destiny 2's Trials of the Nine

Despite the few stumbles along the way, Destiny 2 has been chugging along since its release at the beginning of September. With the PC launch just a few day away, Bungie is aiming to continue ironing out the wrinkles until they get everything right. Of course, when it comes to developing video games, that can be a little difficult. Speaking of which, the latest bug to be exploited for one’s own benefit has led to Destiny 2‘s Trials of the Nine being cancelled.

Luckily, the weekly PvP event won’t be gone forever. Expected to return in November, Destiny 2‘s Trials of the Nine has been cancelled because players have been using the “Bureaucratic Walk” emote to essentially glitch outside of the play area. This allowed said exploiters to fire upon their enemies without being able to be shot in return. Here’s what Bungie has to say:

As a follow-up to reported incidents of emote glitching in the Crucible, we are investigating a fix that we plan to deploy during the first week of November. In the meantime, the next two instances of Trials of the Nine will be postponed.”

Unfortunately, with Destiny 2‘s Trials of the Nine not returning until at least November 3, PC players won’t be able to get in on the action when the game drops on the platform October 24. However, there will be tons of other things to enjoy, as can be seen in the PC launch trailer for the title.
