New Overwatch Halloween Comic Highlights “The Return Of Junkenstein”

Overwatch Halloween Comic

With the spookiness of Halloween just around the corner, video games have been gearing up by holding special events, giving away in-game items, and more. In fact, one can read all about what’s happening for the creepy holiday right here. One such title to be in the spirit has been Blizzard’s Overwatch. With the Halloween Terror 2017 event in full swing, some of our favorite heroes have been outfitted with delightfully haunting skins and voicelines to match the theme. Of course, this means Dr. Junkenstein is at large once more, and Blizzard has released a new Overwatch Halloween comic depicting such an event.

Featuring the return of Junkenstein, the new Overwatch Halloween comic also shows the group of “Wanderers” arriving in Adlersbrunn to take on the mad scientist. This team of four consists of Widowmaker(Countess), Torbjorn(Viking), Zenyatta(Monk), and Genji(Swordsman). Now that the Witch of the Wild has breathed new life into Junkenstein, he is far worse than before, only providing the group of noble heroes with a challenge they had not seen before.

Across land and sea, by foot and by hoof, they came. Four they were in number like the Wanderers of old. Trust would not come easy, but they would need it to survive the horrors the Witch had in store.

For she had at her side a faithful servant named the Reaper, and she had claimed a monstrous new ally: the Summoner, who wielded the power of an ancient dragon. Bound to the Witch’s will by pacts forged in blood, they were called to the battle and pledged not to rest until they had destroyed Adlersbrunn once and for all.

And so the endless night began…”

Rather than bringing about a formal conclusion to the tale of Dr. Jamison Junkenstein, the Overwatch Halloween comic serves as a new beginning. You can check out the full comic right here. As for the event itself, it runs until November 1, so be sure to gather your fellow heroes to take on wave after wave of enemies while earning glorious loot.
