Bungie Says Destiny 2 Strike-Specific Loot Is “Definitely” On The Way
There’s no denying that Bungie has been trying to play catch up since the release of Destiny 2 last year. While the game came with plenty of content for players to enjoy, it was not without its hiccups. Certain modes being blocked by paywalls, some features not even making the cut, and overall bugs that plagued gamers’ experiences were all part of the package, but there is one thing that simply hasn’t shown up: Strike-specific loot.
One thing that keeps players coming back for more in video games is the hunt for something. Whether it be moons in Super Mario Odyssey or new skins in Overwatch, gamers are usually grinding away in hopes of a pile of awesome being rewarded to them. When it comes to strike-specific loot in Destiny 2, however, it just hasn’t been there. Thankfully, Bungie game director Christopher Barrett recently took to Twitter to confirm that the grind players desire is in the pipeline. Check it out:

This is certainly good news for those looking to jump back into Destiny 2. With all of the problems that the game has had since launch, many players have desperately been searching for something that would get them going again in-game. Without glorious loot to be had, what would be the point, right? Either way, we can only hope that this feature finds its way into the game soon.
Destiny 2 is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Stay tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming news, check out the following:
