Destiny 2 Black Armory DLC Releases Next Month

With that first season of Forsaken coming to an end this month, Bungie has already made preparations for the game’s next DLC and announced the release date. Not only does this mark the start of Season of the Forge, the first of three expansion in Forsaken’s annual pass premieres not long after. Titled the Black Armory, Bungie spared community members any details. In terms of content, much of that will reveal itself in due time. During the transition period however, Destiny 2 players can rest easy.

The Black Armory will launch on December 4th, following Season of the Forge’s commencement on November 27th. The developers have a laundry list of changes they’ll be making to Destiny 2, including some touch-ups and bug fixes to Gambit Mode.

In the latest This Week At Bungie, dmg04 presents the latest and upcoming updates for Destiny 2 without showing all their cards. Here’s what the community manager had to say:

What we have planned are not the post-launch expansions you may have played in years past. Your starside journeys will span three distinct seasons that will unfold over the rest of the year. What will each Season hold for every player of Destiny 2? How will the Annual Pass add to that experience? These are the questions we want to answer as we introduce you to a whole way to to enjoy your hobby as a Guardians with new challenges to conquer and new rewards you’ll want to add to your inventory.”
