Borderlands 2 VR Live-Action Trailer Released (VIDEO)

Borderlands 2 VR

Fans are less than a month away from getting their hands on Borderlands 2 VR, which will place them down on the ground on Pandora and provide them with the opportunity to give Claptrap the high five he has always wanted. Or punch him. Most players probably just want to punch the little robotic goofball.

To celebrate the inevitable release of virtual reality-based adventure, a new live-action trailer has been unveiled. It shows Maya in all of her badass glory, punching everything in sight, and we even catch a glimpse of Claptrap himself. While the game doesn’t feature this level of realism, it’s not difficult to imagine putting on the VR headset and getting lost on Pandora. Check out the live-action trailer for yourself below:

Those unfamiliar with what is to come, here is more from the PlayStation blog:

“This 14th December, PlayStation VR fans can look forward to the latest blockbuster experience to come to the platform with Borderlands 2 VR. Developed by Gearbox Software, Borderlands 2 VR brings the iconic shooting-looting world of Pandora to life like never before, as you virtually become a treasure-seeking Vault Hunter facing off against the galaxy’s most charming psychopathic dictator – Handsome Jack – with nothing but your arsenal of 87 bazillion guns.”

Seeing Maya carry out an all out assault on bandits, Loader Bots, and the like in live-action really makes us want more. However, fans are certainly in need of the franchise’s third main installment, but Gearbox just isn’t giving up the goods. It’ll pop up one of these days. When that will be, however, is anyone’s guess.

In the meantime, Borderlands 2 VR is set to arrive on December 14th for PlayStation VR. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
