Death Stranding: Tokyo Game Show 2018 Appearance Confirmed
One of the most anticipated titles that the future holds for gamers is Death Stranding. While we’ve received plenty of looks at the upcoming Kojima Productions project, there is no denying that the bigger picture remains a mystery. With the year drawing to a close, many will begin to look back at what 2018 has provided us. However, we mustn’t do such things, as there is more gaming to be had. That said, there is still a chance that we could get more Death Stranding footage before 2019.
Speaking of potential new looks at the highly-anticipate game, the Tokyo Game Show 2018 is right around the corner, and it appears Hideo Kojima and company will be present. In a recent tweet from the Kojima Productions Twitter account, they confirmed their return to the event. See for yourself below:
Kojima Productions is back at #TokyoGameShow2018, with a stage show on Sept 23 featuring Hideo Kojima and cast members of the Japanese version!! Also, look for the Kojima Productions Store.! https://t.co/7BgvhbgaD5 pic.twitter.com/0d9EwWoZdR

As seen in the tweet, members of the Japanese version’s cast will be joining Kojima himself for a stage show revolving around Death Stranding. Sadly, no other details have been confirmed for what is to appear at the event. After the lengthy trailer shown at E3 back in June, it’s unlikely that we’ll get more footage, but not entirely out of the question. With the Japanese cast present, there might be some footage featuring them, but that might be all there is to it.
That, of course, isn’t to say we won’t get another look at the game before the year ends. PlayStation Experience and The Game Awards are likely candidates to receive such a glorious gift. Who knows, we might even learn a release date this year. Until Kojima decides it is a good time to unveil such information, we’ll just have to keep guessing.
Death Stranding is currently in development for PlayStation 4. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers to see what sort of goodies come out of the title’s stage show at Tokyo Game Show on September 23rd. For other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
