New Death Stranding Screenshots Feature Mama, Deadman, And More
Death Stranding had quite the impressive showing at Gamescom 2019. The man, the myth, the legendary Hideo Kojima himself took the trip out to the show to speak a bit about the first Kojima Productions game, while also providing some commentary on the loads of new footage revealed during the proceedings. Now, in the wake of the latest batch of footage, Sony has released a new batch of screenshots for Death Stranding fans to sink their teeth into.
Sony recently took to its official PlayStation Europe Twitter to dispense a few posts’ worth of new screenshots for Death Stranding. The screenshots – while beautiful – all seem to be pulled from the most recent batch of footage revealed at both Gamescom 2019 and PAX, though you won’t hear us complaining about getting another chance to look at the game’s impressive visuals. Check ’em all out below:

The first set of above visuals contains screenshots showing off the characters Mama, Bridge Baby, and Deadman, along with a few shots of protagonist Sam running around. The second batch has a few of the same shots along with another hilarious look at the Geoff Keighley-inspired NPC. Thankfully we shouldn’t have to wait too much longer for even more details about the game, as Death Stranding is slated to release on the PlayStation 4 on October 8, 2019.
