Death Stranding Role Hinted At By Metal Gear Solid Actress

Death Stranding Role

Even though fans are still potentially recovering from the wild trailer that was revealed at last year’s Game Awards, Death Stranding details are relatively hard to come by. Hideo Kojima himself is somewhat a man of mystery, so it should be expected that a game to come out of his studio would follow suit. That being said, speculation has recently begun as to whether or not a Death Stranding role has been teased by Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain actress Stefanie Joosten.

In a post on her Twitter account, Joosten shared a series of four images. Each is just as mysterious and more desaturated than the last, and with the content of them being somewhat familiar, fans were quick to point out the parallels between the photos and Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding. Check them out in the tweet below to see if you recognize some similarities:

As can be seen in the tweet above, no context was provided for the images. For all we know, this has nothing to do with a potential Death Stranding role. It could just be Joosten showing off some of her artistic skills with a camera. It might even have something to do with the character that was possibly teased last month. That, of course, didn’t stop fans from jumping on the bandwagon that the photos are somehow connected to the mysterious game.

There is no denying that this sort of reaction is understandable. The images show a desolate beach on a cloudy day, which is definitely in line with the title. Remove the color, add some contrast, and you’ve got yourself something that resembles Death Stranding. Here are a few of the responses to Joosten’s post:

Death Stranding is currently in development, with no release date announced as of yet. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming news going on right now, check out the following:
