Ryan Reynolds Releases Deadpool 2 Teaser Shown Before Logan (VIDEO)
Deadpool is the Merc with a Mouth that everyone has come to love after hitting it big with the 2016 film. Of course, everyone loved him before the film, but Fox wasted no time in planning for the sequel, as was made evident by the post-credits scene of the first installment. Now that we are a year removed from the release of Deadpool, anticipation runs high for the follow-up feature. To satiate the needs of fans, a Deadpool 2 teaser is shown just before Logan, which was released March 3, plays in theaters.
Thanks to the Internet and cell phones, people were uploading the footage left and right. Fox attempted taking all of the copies down, but it did not seem they were able to catch them all. However, due to Ryan Reynolds himself releasing the video on his YouTube channel, we can now see the Deadpool 2 teaser in all of its HD glory.
In the video, we see an unmasked Wade Wilson walking through the streets, hood up to hide that beautifully ugly mug of his. After hearing a kerfuffle, he decides to take action! Springing to the nearest phone booth(yes… a phone booth because superheroes… and reasons), he puts on that infamously red suit of his. Unfortunately, it seems to take him a little longer than we’ve come to know from past superheroes.
In the 76 seconds it takes Wade to transform into Deadpool via phone booth, we still hear the hubbub going on in the background as a victim argues with his attacker. Of course, Wilson isn’t fairing too well in the small space as he struggles to put on the suit. However, he does have time to make a quick phone call to the costumer that helps him with his suit, but to no avail. Just as he zips up the suit, a gunshot rings out, indicating things didn’t go so well outside of the phone booth. Hilarity ensues. Take a look, but be warned – there is some seriously strong language going on in the video:
