Dark Souls Remastered Will Be 50% Off For ‘Prepare To Die’ Edition Owners (UPDATED)

UPDATE: Banai Namco has confirmed that the information was misrepresented in the original post from a fan, that their image was doctored on the official website. No discount is in the  current plan.

It’s been a huge day for Dark Souls fans. Not only did we finally get the long-awaited clarification about those Dark Souls remastered rumors, but we finally know it’s coming to the Nintendo Switch as well! One thing is for sure, if it’s anything like the Skyrim port, it’s going to be well worth the wait! In addition to that, a sweet new (and pricey) trilogy box set has also been announced! But for those PC gamers that already have it, and mods to increase graphics, is it worth the double dip?

For Steam users that already own the Prepare to Die edition – yes! Bandai Namco has confirmed that for owners of that particular edition already on Steam will get the Dark Souls Remastered version for 50% off the original price, making the game an easy $19.99! That’s a smooth move on Bandai’s part, and a really neat way for them to reward their loyal fans! So we guess in this case it’s …, Praise the Steam? We’ll work on that …

In the meantime, get hype because this is what Bandai Namco has laid out for us:
