‘Cyberpunk 2077’ Reportedly Releasing In 2019

Cyberpunk 2077 Reportedly Releasing In 2019

Cyberpunk 2077 is CD Projekt RED’s most highly anticipated title, with the recently announced Witcher spinoff game Thronebreaker coming in second on the developer’s hype meter. With fans gobbling up any information they can about the futuristic title, the encompassing speculation has previously pointed at a 2020 release date for Cyberpunk 2077. That said, there is apparently some possibility the game will release next year, thanks to the rather loose-lipped Turkish publisher Bilkom.

The publisher recently posted a tweet about the game, mentioning that the upcoming open-world title will be releasing at some point in 2019. The tweet has since been taken down, though we have the verbiage used from the post which can be below:

Geliyor, hazır olduğunda!
The Witcher serisinin yapımcısı Cd Projekt’in yeni oyunu Cyberpunk 2077 #BilkomGüvencesiyle 2019 yılında Türkiye’de! #Bilkom #CDProjekt #Cyberpunk2077″

As always, news that isn’t coming from the actual game publisher should be taken with a grain of salt, though Bilkom has worked with CD Projekt RED in the past. The Turkish publisher previously helped publish The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in Turkey, so if we’re going to trust any source that isn’t CD Projekt RED, it may as well be Bilkom. We can only hope that it wasn’t a simple mistake, as fans are absolutely dying to get their hands on Cyberpunk 2077.
