A Cyberpunk 2077 Dev Has Over 175 Hours Of Playtime, Still Hasn’t Finished
The upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 is said to be quite massive in scale, with the map being almost twice the size of Los Santos from Grand Theft Auto V and featuring a lot of nooks and crannies to explore. There’s going to be enough to do, in fact, that players could spend over 175 hours within the game… At least, that’s how long it’s taking one developer to play through.
Q&A Lead for CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 Łukasz Babiel recently posted to Twitter with a quick addition to the “how it started vs. how it’s going” trend that been roaming through the meme-verse lately. The post shows off an image where he began with the Nomad lifepath followed by the second image that shows his save clocking in at a whopping 175 hours and 43 minutes. He explains in a response to a fan that he isn’t going for a completionist playthrough this go around, merely taking his time exploring, looting, and using all the features the game has to offer on the hardest difficulty. The dev is also aiming for a slower and more stealthy gameplay style, so that likely has something to do with it.

Having a long life is crucial to many games in this day and age, and it seems like Cyberpunk 2077 has the potential to keep players engaged for a very, very long time. It’s good to see there’s plenty to keep players occupied with in the game no matter how slow or fast-paced they choose to play.
Cyberpunk 2077 has seen numerous delays due to various circumstances but if luck holds out, fans will finally be able to get their hands on the title on December 10th for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and Google Stadia.
