New Code Vein Gameplay Trailer Features Blocking, Dodging, And Finishing Moves (VIDEO)
Bandai Namco has released a brand new gameplay trailer for what is currently the most anticipated souls-like title of 2018: Code Vein. The most recent of many before it, the latest Code Vein gameplay trailer takes a look at some of the fighting techniques available to Revenants, including blocking, dodging, and finishing moves. Check it out below:
As seen in the above trailer, Code Vein features awesomely stylized visuals mixed with souls-like gameplay, which makes for a pretty exciting game. Some exciting locals are featured as well, including an icy cliff edge, a scenic waterfall, and a fiery location to balance things out. The release date for the game is currently unknown, though the title is set to release for PC, PS4, and Xbox One at some point in 2018. Here’s the summary of the game from Bandai Namco:
In the not too distant future, a mysterious disaster has brought collapse to the world as we know it. Towering skyscrapers, once symbols of prosperity, are now lifeless graves of humanity’s past pierced by the Thorns of Judgment. At the center of the destruction lies a hidden society of Revenants called Vein. This final stronghold is where the remaining few fight to survive, blessed with Gifts of power in exchange for their memories and a thirst for blood. Give into the bloodlust fully and risk becoming one of the Lost, fiendish ghouls devoid of any remaining humanity. Wandering aimlessly in search of blood, the Lost will stop at nothing to satisfy their hunger. Team up and embark on a journey to the ends of hell to unlock your past and escape your living nightmare in CODE VEIN.”
