Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s Halloween Scream Event Is To Die For (VIDEO)
Whether it’s finger-gunning someone to death or knocking them off the map with a toy soldier, it’s about to be a good time. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare‘s Halloween Scream event is pulling out all the ghoulish holiday cheer with hilarious content with the return of undead boss battles, themed supply drops each week, and the return of Gesture Warfare. That’s right, baby, it’s back and there’s even an announcement trailer to go with it. Check it out below:
From October 9th – November 1st, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is introducing Willie Wyler’s Halloween Scream event as a “celebration of all things gruesome and bone-chilling” for multiplayer and zombie game modes. As the community desires, Gesture Warfare is making a comeback with this month’s frightfully themed holiday. Squish opponents between your fingers or other ghastly ways, players can choose to do so as a humiliation tactic or just for shits and giggles because why not?
In true themed fashion, zombie mode will feature Boss Battles and that means facing off against everyone’s favorite enemies. Aliens will appear in “Zombies in Spaceland”, and the corresponding bosses in “Shaolin Shuffle”, “Rave in the Redwoods”, “Attack of the Radioactive Thing”, and “The Beast From Beyond” will too. Whether it is slashing the Slasher or exterminating the Rat King, players will also have a chance to discover sweet Easter Eggs too.
Furthermore, the Carnage map as announced in Infinite Warfare‘s Retribution DLC pack will be free-to-play on its very own playlist for all players beginning Thursday, October 12th until the end of the Halloween Scream. As with any event, there will be awesome cosmetics to collect. Not only does everyone receive a free themed Supply Drop “at the beginning of each week”, which contains weapon variants, calling cards, or a Rig skin, but each Friday means a free cosmetic item as well.
In order to get those freebies, however, players have to join in on online multiplayer each morning from Monday through Friday and chat it up with the Quartermaster:
You will also get a free cosmetic item every Friday during Willard Wyler’s Halloween Scream event, along with one final spooky present the final week that you won’t want to miss. To receive the free items during Halloween Scream, players need to log into Multiplayer between Monday and Friday morning while online and visit the Quartermaster. The Supply Drop will be available between Monday morning and Friday morning, Pacific Daylight Time, while the cosmetic items will be available between Friday morning and Monday morning, PDT.
