Call Of Duty: WWII Ground War Mode Revealed, New Multiplayer Map Teased
As if the latest wave of content wasn’t enough with the brand new The War Machine DLC pack that went live, there’s more content to be had very soon! According to a weekly update from developer Sledgehammer Games, a Call of Duty: WWII Ground War mode will be coming to the game next week. Furthermore, there’s even a brand new multiplayer map that may be heading your way. Of course, all of it will be tied together with a reasonable list of hot fixes to improve the game’s overall experience.
This week, players will see double in experience points, weapon and even division experience in all War Machine Moshpit playlists and War Mode. Sledgehammer Games has already prepared the contents for next week, revealing the Ground War mode, changes to weapon orders, and a “sneak peek for next week”. See below for a couple teaser images:
Based on the second image (right side), one can presume that Sledgehammer may plan on turning Headquarters into a playable multiplayer map. Could that point to a free-for-all deathmatch? Perhaps. For now, we’ll have to wait in the shadows to find out more, but it won’t be long. As for other content to be enjoyed on Call of Duty: WWII, this week also hosts double the experience on all Nazi Zombie maps until Monday, April 16th at 10AM PST.
Call of Duty: WWII is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. What do you think of the news of a Call of Duty: WWII Ground War mode? Is this something you’ve been waiting for?
