Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare And ‘Warzone’ Season 4 Inbound, Download Tips Revealed
The next season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was recently delayed in response to the surge in protests for the Black Lives Matter movement. While it may have seemed like it would take at least a couple of weeks before the team brought the update to the public, it seems the developers were sufficiently prepared to announce the release date for Season 4, which is actually today.
Community manager Ashton Williams recently took to Twitter to provide Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players with a brief rundown on what they’ll need in order to be prepared for when the update drops later tonight. It appears that the file size is going to be quite large, and even though the team at Infinity Ward is hoping to reduce the overall disc space the update will still take up an additional 4GB worth of content on consoles. Williams did give players a link to the Activision support page that reveals a method of removing content packs that they aren’t actively being played by players in order to potentially reduce the size of space the game takes up alongside the incoming update.
The Season 4 download is going to be large. In order to reduce the overall disc space that MW and WZ take up, we’re compressing a bunch of assets. Once installed, the S4 launch will only take up an additional 4GB on consoles for all of the new content.

Both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone are available for PC. Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
