This Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 Mod Brings Anime Girls To The Gun Fight (VIDEO)

A new Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 mod released recently, introducing adorable anime girls from another video game into the fight. If you’re an anime fan and love related goodies, this Japanese title might sound familiar. Characters from Hyperdimension Neptunia were used, bringing Neptune, Noire, Blanc, IF and others to replace campaign characters in this CoD entry. This takes the girls with guns genre of anime and manga to a whole new level. Check out the introduction to the Black Ops 3 mode below:

This Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 mod goes all out and renders the characters from Hyperdimension Neptunia into the game with ease. They’re quite the contrast compared to the realistic humans standing next by them during cut-scenes, but the silliness is part of the fun. The video above provides an insightful look at all the work that went into creating this mod and it looks great!

The Hyperdimension Neptunia series created by Idea Factory, debuted in 2010 and has since debuted a few different spin-off titles as well. It’s one of those games that doesn’t take itself too seriously, but the developer ensured the gameplay and overall graphics feel and look phenomenal anyway. The series hosts adorable and likable female anime characters that parody gaming industry events and stereotypes often found in the anime world. Action-packed comedy with cute anime girls – what more could you ask for?

The mod is available now to use on Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 titled “Hyperdimenion Neptunia [Character Mod]” on the Steam Workshop. What do you think of this new mod?
