With Destiny 2 out in the world, fans are digging into the gameplay and uncovering all of the new features. Among those new attributes are elements that can be played outside of the campaign mode in the game. The title is featuring a weekly Nightfall Strike, end-game versions of a general Vanguard Strike that offer modifiers and heightened challenges.

Bungie posted new details about the Nightfall Strike on their website on the 5th, with the Crucible being the first challenge. Many details were confirmed in the post, including what exactly the objective of this first bout would be. The name of the first strike is “The Arms Dealer”, where players will have to cease operations of an ironmonger dealing weapons to the Red Legion.

Bungie has decided to keep the details on modifiers a secret for now, leaving it up to players to find out themselves. They did, however, unveil the challenges being presented in the Nightfall Strike. Check out the details of those challenges in the short list from their announcement below:

• Speed Of Dark: Complete the Nightfall with at least 5 minutes remaining.
• Unbroken: Complete the Nightfall with fewer than 3 deaths.
• Trash The Thresher: Shoot down a Thresher while fighting Bracus Zahn.

The Nightfall Strike will rotate weekly after each reset along with the modifiers for each event. Bungie recommends that players consider aligning their loadouts with the modifiers to get the most out of their gaming experience. There are 5 days left for this strike, so players still have a chance to dive into the excitement.
