Brie Larson and Gal Gadot To Present At The Game Awards 2020

While 2020 proved not to be fruitful for superhero films, it did still allow for many great video games to be released. Next week, The Game Awards 2020 will present accolades to the year’s most beloved and critically praised games, such as The Last of Us Part II, Ghosts of Tsushima and Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Now confirmed to help present these awards are none other than superhero stars Brie Larson and Gal Gadot.

The Game Awards producer, host, and Cool Ranch pontiff Geoff Keighley recently confirmed that Brie Larson and Gal Gadot would be presenters during next week’s show on his official Twitter account. Obviously, this year’s Game Awards event will be digital for safety reasons, which thankfully meant that getting celebrity guests to present awards is easier than ever. Gadot will be one such presenter, no doubt to help promote the HBO Max release of Wonder Woman 1984.

The Game Awards also confirmed that Brie Larson would be presenting. Larson has made her love of gaming very well known this year on her YouTube channel, and recently appeared in promotional videos for Nintendo. It makes perfect sense that she would be willing to present an award during the show. Also confirmed as a presenter is Spider-Man actor and star of the upcoming Uncharted live-action film Tom Holland. This is quite a star-studded lineup of actors to present at the show next week. Seeing faces from both Marvel and DC during the same event is surely going to be a sight to behold. In these dark times, it’s great to see our heroes uniting under video games. Here’s hoping Brie says “Hey Peter Parker. You have something for me?” to Tom Holland at some point during the event.
