New Battlefield V Trailer Seems To Tease Their Battle Royale Mode (VIDEO)

Battle royale has taken over the world it seems. Although video game developers aren’t ignoring the loyal solo campaigners and regular ol’ gaming heads, it’s certainly financially advantageous to join this craze. In a brand new and epic trailer released by Electronic Arts and DICE at Gamescom 2018, Battlefield V teases the potential in their own personal iteration of the battle royale mode. Though already confirmed during the festivities of E3 earlier this Summer, here’s an impressive look at what lies ahead:

It’s a feast for the eyes, featuring cinematic action shots with tanks, explosives, and casual pans of maps. There’s a healthy dose of actual gameplay in there as well. After a full minute and thirty seconds into the trailer, the screen fades to the Battlefield V logo. There’s a totally separate teaser that shows off what looks like their battle royale mode. How? Well that ring of fire ain’t a Johnny Cash song, that’s for sure!

Among the pre-recorded shouting and screaming, witnesses can see a ring of rolling flames closing in on the last remaining “players.” This is not unlike the well-recognized Fortnite storm that consequently decreases the map’s size and playability after s designated amount of play.
