Battlefield V Celebrates Upcoming Release With Free Expansions And Rewards

Electronic Arts and DICE are readying themselves for the excitement as the anticipating for Battlefield V’s debut this October rises. To celebrate the soon to be next entry in the critically-acclaimed action, first-person shooter franchise, EA DICE are releasing free expansions and in-game rewards to the community. Since BFV hasn’t yet hit the shelves, they’ll be giving away these awesome goodies to the community in Battlefield 1 and 4.

There will be over 20 maps “worth of free content,” according to EA DICE. It began with the ‘In the Name of Tsar’ expansion for BF1, which came with six maps and the entry into World War I. Then there was Turning Tides and Apocalypse, the latter of which will release by the end of July. In addition to those, players can earn weekly rewards like weapons and skins, dog tags, and squad experience boosts.

To make it easier to earn those awesome in-game goods, there’s a “tailor-made” map playlist that changes every Tuesday to give players a “tour” of its variety! Here’s more on what the community can expect before Battlefield V sees its release in Fall:

Those Battlefield 1 in-game rewards also include periodic, exclusive vanity items for Battlefield V, available for use in that game at launch. Battlefield V will let players customize their own company of soldiers with special soldier sets containing weapon skins, camo patterns, head gear, and face paint for the British Special Air Service (SAS) and German Airborne troops. There are eight available before launch. You can grab six of these when you pre-order the Battlefield V Deluxe Editionbut the only way to earn the additional two soldier sets is via the Road to Battlefield V.”

Battlefield V arrives on October 19th, 2018 for Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4 for standard edition purchases. Meanwhile, the Deluxe Edition and EA Play First trial will host early access on October 16th and 11th respectively. How do you think EA DICE is handling the promotion of BFV?
