WATCH: Batman: The Enemy Within Episode 4 Lands Next Week, New Trailer Revealed
Telltale Games’ latest season of Batman-centric storytelling The Enemy Within sees the Dark Knight confront quite a few of his most formidable villains, namely The Riddler and more recently villain group The Pact. The previous episode left things on a pretty sizable cliffhanger, with both outcomes leaving players in a tense dilemma. A peek at Bruce Wayne’s future has been revealed in the trailer for The Enemy Within Episode 4, and it doesn’t look exactly good.
Titled “What Ails You“, Bruce’s life looks to be in shambles, either by remaining undercover with The Pact or being put under the villains’ considerable radar. The alter ego of Batman also seems to have a lot on his plate, with the threat of danger and heavy loss all but promised before the end of the next episode. Check out the trailer and synopsis for Batman: The Enemy Within Episode 4 below:
When the Pact puts its plan into motion, Bruce’s cover is finally blown, and as his web of lies unravels, new questions emerge: When and how will the Pact regroup? What’s truly motivating Amanda Waller and the Agency? And perhaps most importantly, how will John Doe handle the truth about his buddy Bruce? With another showdown brewing, the clown prince of crime may finally earn his crown…
Based on the trailer’s final moments, exciting times look to be ahead, especially if you’re a fan of the Joker, er I mean, “John Doe”. If Telltale follows tradition, this penultimate episode will provide the biggest cliffhanger of the series yet. Batman: The Enemy Within Episode 4 “What Ails You” will release on January 23rd for Android, iOS, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox 360.
