Batman Movie Reboot Official Logo, Artwork Revealed

Batman Movie Robert Pattinson

While the 2020 box office has been decidedly hampered by the global COVID-19 pandemic, many high-profile productions have slowly made headway in the meantime. Whether it be through strategic shooting, remote post-production, or just waiting for the danger to subside, many future movies are finding ways to secure their eventual release into theatres, including such awaited adaptations as DC’s Batman movie reboot.

While the comic book adaptation prepares to resume filming, director Matt Reeves has shared a new look at some artwork for the upcoming film. Showcased over social media, Reeves unveiled an official logo for the Batman movie, with the image sporting a bold, red color scheme as well as the bat-symbol that will be used in the adventure. The title treatment was shown off alongside official artwork from DC artist Jim Lee, which depicts star Robert Pattinson wearing the full Batsuit in shadowy comic book style.

While official marketing for The Batman movie would be well overdue at this point, these new images are actually advertising the film’s presence at the closely-approaching DC FanDome event. The proceedings promise to divulge quite a few projects from across DC Comics as well as Warner Bros., including Rocksteady’s new Suicide Squad game, the latest from Mortal Kombat 11 developer NetherRealm Studios, as well as another long-rumored Batman project from WB Games Montreal. There’s also the teased first footage for Zack Snyder’s Justice League to think about, assuring a heavy presence for The Dark Knight at the 2-day event.

The Batman is scheduled to release in theaters on October 1st, 2021.
