Baldur's Gate 3 Gameplay Reveal Coming Later This Month

It looks like the wait is almost over for our first good look at the gameplay in Baldur’s Gate 3. Originally announced almost a year ago by Divinity: Original Sin 2 developer Larian Studios, the dev recently revealed that the world’s first look at Baldur’s Gate 3 gameplay is slated to arrive later this month at PAX East.

Larian Studios took to the Baldur’s Gate 3 Twitter to make the official announcement, stating that the gameplay reveal will be happening live at PAX East on Thursday February 27th at 1530ET. The studio is also teasing the appearance of a “special guest” onstage, and I can only hope they’re referring to the Mindflayer from the original reveal trailer. Check out the reveal tweet below:

While not much is currently known about the gameplay at this time, we do know that the title will feature over 100 hours of content, something Larian Studios revealed fairly quickly after the original game announcement. Once the first bit of gameplay is revealed later this month, we’ll likely start to see a trickle of new footage and info from that point onwards until the game releases.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is now in development by Larian Studios.
