Avengers 4 Finally Reveals First Trailer, Official Title (VIDEO)
The whole of the MCU was at stake in this year’s crossover film Avengers: Infinity War, with Thanos’ snappy delivery of doom looming large over all reality. Those who witnessed the galactic team-up undoubtedly remember the Mad Titan ultimately succeeded in his universal genocide, leaving viewers shocked in the face of the villain’s “happy” ending. With Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in shambles (some more than others), fans are eagerly anticipating the eventual follow-up known up until this point as Avengers 4.
Marvel has now revealed the first trailer for the incoming sequel, providing our first look at the concluding chapter of the MCU’s Phase 3. From the get go, we see the Avengers that survived Thanos’ snap are truly in dire straits, none more than Tony Stark who is shown adrift and alone in outer space. Though the situation is extremely hopeless for our heroes, the trailer’s final moments do actually give us answers to one of fans’ most enduring mysteries: the movie’s title is officially Avengers: Endgame! Check it out the video below.
The debut of the first Avengers 4 trailer comes following what seems like an eternity of waiting, with fans expecting the footage to drop any day over the last few months. The meantime has brought forth plenty of expectation, speculation, and frustration revolving around the delayed premiere, but it seems all the online fervor can finally be put to bed, at least until the inevitable next trailer rolls around. Until then, it’s all steam ahead to Captain Marvel’s release this coming March. Then, Avengers: Endgame will release in theaters on May 3rd, 2019.
